We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Senior Director - Chief Architect Lead to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design and implementation of complex cybersecurity solutions, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' systems.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in architecting and implementing secure solutions. They will be responsible for leading a team of cybersecurity architects and engineers, providing strategic guidance on cybersecurity initiatives, and overseeing the deployment and integration of security technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements, as well as expertise in designing and implementing complex security architectures and managed services. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with clients and senior leadership.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 7 years in a senior architecture or solution design role for a large program of greater than $100M or 100 FTEs
  • Direct experience with CISA and preference for experience within Capacity Building or other directly related cybersecurity environments
  • Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $212,500 - $287,500, based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical plan options, dental plan options, vision plan, 401(k) plan, and paid time off, among others.
