Cyber Security Planning Manager

Salary: $145,000-$185,000 per year.

OCT Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Planning Manager to support the CISA Cybersecurity Division (CSD). As a key member of the program management team, you will oversee program development, operational support, and other administrative functions in support services to CSD. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience managing projects on a full-time basis, with expertise in managing teams of over 50 people in cyber security planning, communication, stakeholder management, and senior executive support in federal government offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as second in command for the Program Manager
  • Act as Program Manager in case of an absence
  • Assist in managing a team of 50+ people, overseeing daily tasks and operations to ensure high quality and timely delivery
  • Serve as secondary point of contact for the client
  • Develop status reports and executive briefings
  • Provide guidance on preparation of documentation, correspondence, briefing materials, and other related documentation in support of day-to-day operations
  • Identify resource requirements for team, develop position descriptions and conduct interviews
  • Develop, update, and review Project Management Review (PMR) PowerPoint presentations, and project plans

Requirements:

  • At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience managing projects on a full-time basis.
  • At least 10 years of experience in managing teams of over 50 people in cyber security planning, communication, stakeholder management, and senior executive support in federal government offices.
  • Project Management Institute(PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Masters degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (to include PowerPoint, Visio, Project, OneNote, SharePoint, Power BI)
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a current DoD Top Secret Clearance
