Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated individual to assist with managing group bookings and support our marketing efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a proven history of delivering outstanding service, a willingness to learn, and the ability to lead by example. Professional and courteous communication with guests and team members is essential.
The Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting our Sales Team and ensuring the accuracy of group bookings within our reservation system.
Key Responsibilities- Group Sales Coordination: Manage and maintain the accuracy of group bookings in the inventory management system from entry to final confirmation.
- Communicate group room block requests and updates to the Front Office Team.
- Verify and reconcile room blocks regularly between Sales and Front Office.
- Update group room pickups post-departure in the sales database.
- Assist the sales team with proposals and event order distribution.
- Conduct market research for new client development.
- Maintain an updated client database for future marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate on social media projects aimed at attracting new business.
- Enhance client messaging across various social media platforms.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Two years of experience in hospitality or a professional office setting.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Above-average skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience with Delphi and hotel operations is a plus.
The compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
