Job Title: Detailer/Drafter - Metal Building Structures

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Detailer/Drafter with expertise in metal building structures to work with our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in steel construction and proficiency in Tekla or MBS software, with a preference for Tekla.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed drawings and plans for metal building structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design requirements and incorporate necessary changes.
  • Utilize Tekla or MBS software to produce high-quality shop drawings and fabrication details.
  • Review and resolve any discrepancies in plans and specifications before construction begins.
  • Assist in coordinating with subcontractors and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience in steel/metal building construction is essential.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Tekla software is preferred; experience with MBS software will also be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in drafting and a commitment to quality work.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
