Palliative Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Palliative Care Social Worker to join our team at Mass General Brigham. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary of $85,000-$110,000 annually.
As a Palliative Care Social Worker, you will work closely with patients and families affected by advanced heart disease, providing psychosocial support and guidance throughout their care journey. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes palliative care physicians and nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) and experience working in a hospital setting, particularly in palliative care or hospice. You will be comfortable conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with patients and families to achieve their goals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
