Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in various facilities, including:
    • Interior spaces: clean, strip, wax, seal, and buff floors.
    • Vacuum and shampoo carpets.
    • Dust and polish furniture and woodwork.
    • Sanitize restrooms, fountains, windows, blinds, and light fixtures.
    • Wash and paint walls.
    • Empty and clean waste receptacles.
    • Wash windows.
  • Manage inventory and restock cleaning supplies.
  • Oversee exterior maintenance tasks, including:
    • Mowing and trimming lawns and maintaining landscaping.
    • Removing leaves and debris as necessary.
    • Clearing snow and ice from walkways and driveways.
  • Assist with event preparations by setting up tables, chairs, and other necessary equipment.
  • Handle vehicle maintenance by transporting vehicles for repairs, checking fluids, and refueling as needed.
  • Ensure vehicles are up to date with registrations and inspections.
  • Support the Food Pantry by assisting with the collection and delivery of items.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred handyman or tradesman skills.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment, with a willingness to learn effective cleaning techniques.
  • Experience in safely operating manual and power tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid Driver's License meeting insurance requirements.
  • Capability to operate a 12-passenger van.
