Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Centene Corporation. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for leading projects that focus on managing and maintaining optimum platform infrastructure performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement complex services to automate monitoring activities and provide critical information to facilitate response and resolution of performance and availability issues and incidents.
  • Lead project teams through the deployment process, ensuring that systems operate without interruption at optimum performance.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze service disruptions to determine the root cause of issues and develop solutions for improved reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to investigate and document issues, and lead internal teams to develop solutions to mitigate them.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including compliance with all policies and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
  • 4-6 years of related experience, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skill reflective of the level of this position.
  • Technical skills, including experience with Linux Operating System, observability/monitoring tools, enterprise-level CICD tools, public cloud platforms, and programming tools.
  • Soft skills, including intermediate analytical skills, project management skills, and excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
