Key Responsibilities- Interpret Physician Prescriptions: Review and interpret physician prescriptions and medication orders to ensure accuracy and determine the necessary formulas and ingredients.
- Act as a Drug Information Resource: Serve as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff, and ancillary department personnel.
- Compound and Dispense Medications: Compound and dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care.
- Supervise Pharmacy Staff: Supervise at least one to two members of the Pharmacy Department staff on a daily basis.
- Interview and Train Personnel: Interview and assist in the hiring process, train personnel, plan, assign, and direct work, address complaints, and resolve problems.
- Current Pharmacist Certification or Licensure: Hold current Pharmacist certification or licensure in the State of Nevada.
- Experience: Prefer 5 years of experience.
- Certifications: Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
