Position Details:
Shift: Tuesday to Friday, Night Shift, 12-hour shifts (flexible start time)
Compensation: Up to $36/hour

Role Summary:
Techo-Bloc is seeking a skilled industrial maintenance technician (electro-mechanic) with expertise in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and welding.

Key Responsibilities:
Your daily tasks will include:

  • Inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mechanical components such as motors, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
  • Repairing and troubleshooting hydraulic systems, including cylinders and valves.
  • Fabricating hydraulic hoses as necessary.
  • Utilizing advanced welding techniques across various positions and joint types.
  • Operating shop tools such as band saws, drills, and grinders effectively.
  • Installing new equipment and aligning machinery using appropriate tools.
  • Diagnosing electrical issues using schematics and testing equipment.
  • Documenting and executing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Electromechanics or Industrial Maintenance.
  • Proficient in using power tools and machinery.
  • Experience with welding techniques, including stick and MIG welding.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
  • Familiarity with various electrical systems and testing devices.
  • Collaborative team player.

Education:
Electrical certifications or equivalent experience are preferred.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to lift and move items up to 75 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally. Candidates must be able to perform tasks that involve climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
