Job Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs Radiologic procedures for the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by a physician. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.

Responsibilities
  • Performs Radiologic procedures for the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by a physician.
  • Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.
  • Works under the direction of a Radiologist to ensure accurate and safe procedures.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
  • Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible. If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire.
  • Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
