Patient Care and Safety

As a Radiology Care Technician at Texas Health Fort Worth, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare the radiology suite for examinations, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly. This includes reviewing physician orders and exam requisitions to guarantee continuity of patient care.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance

You will be responsible for operating, caring for, and maintaining relevant equipment to provide proper utilization. This includes troubleshooting and documenting equipment malfunctions to ensure timely repairs and patient safety.

Professional Accountability and Partnership

As a Radiology Care Technician, you will maintain technical skills and technology advancements to enhance professional contributions to the department. You will also recognize and communicate ethical and legal concerns through established channels of communication for the well-being and safety of patients.
