Clinical Applications Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Applications Analyst to join our team at CAMC Health System.

About the Role:

This is a full-time regular position with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical application support and implementation within our Information Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide application support to customers either directly or via help desk tickets.
  • Resolves incidents and service tickets according to agreed upon SLA's and assigned timelines.
  • Evaluate vendor-supplied software by studying user objectives; testing software compatibility with existing and/or new hardware and programs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or other related field.
  • Greater than 2 years' experience working with clinical electronic health record or other clinical software applications within the healthcare industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cerner experience.
  • Certification preferred.
Work Environment:

This position is based in Charleston, WV, and requires flexible hours when needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and maintain confidentiality.
