Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

About the Role

Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also engage residents in life-enriching activities, promote independence, and foster meaningful relationships with them and their families.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualized care and support to residents, including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
  2. Encourage residents to participate in activities that promote mental and physical stimulation, such as exercise classes, art therapy, and games.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  4. Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates to ensure resident-centered care.
  5. Work collaboratively with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and Risk Management policies.
  6. Respond to dining needs of residents and guests while maintaining Sunrise hospitality standards.
  7. Involve residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities, as indicated on their ISP and demographic profile.

Requirements:

  • Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; certifications may be necessary per state regulations.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest.

  • $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
