About This Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to support our new Line End Tester (LET) inspections by studying new model feature technology prior to Mass Production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support LET new model development, including design review, implementation, change point communication, LET programming, DTC root cause analysis, and countermeasure creation/implementation
  • Lead activity with Design/Suppliers, confirmation testing, summarizing results, identifying root cause, and implementing temporary solutions and permanent countermeasures to ensure minimal line downtime and optimal vehicle quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve LET process efficiency, provide training and support, and communicate change points to factory teams
  • Review and summarize change points and potential changepoints for new models, and present findings to Design and E-Section teams
  • Mentor and train NMQ LET team members and rotating EDPs on LET type items
Requirements
  • 0-6 years of experience based on education
  • BS Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering or related associate's degree with experience; or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of manufacturing environment and Microsoft Office
  • Engineering math skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read drawings/flowcharts/specifications, troubleshoot problems, multitask, and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
