Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Palliative Medicine physician to join our interdisciplinary team in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. As a Palliative Medicine specialist, you will consult with patients on both in-patient and out-patient settings, providing medical care related to symptom management.

  • You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop written plans of care, prioritize patient goals, and facilitate treatment adherence.
  • A strong focus will be placed on process improvement initiatives that align with department and system goals.
  • You will participate in Tumor Boards and Oncology Quality Committee/Cancer Committee to stay up-to-date on best practices and contribute to quality enhancements.
  • In addition, you will serve as a collaborating physician to advanced practice providers and engage in collaborative decision-making.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for delivering compassionate care to patients and their families.
