We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Medicine physician to join our team at Northwestern Medicine. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced or recently fellowship-trained physician to build your career with a premier healthcare system in the Chicagoland area.
Responsibilities:
As a Palliative Medicine physician, you will:
- Consult with patients on both in-patient and out-patient settings, providing medical care related to symptom management
- Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop written plans of care and prioritize patient goals
- Facilitate treatment adherence and provide education to patients and their families
- Participate in process improvement initiatives that align with department and system goals
- Engage in collaborative decision-making with advanced practice providers
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in palliative care principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering compassionate care to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- BE/BC
