Fleet Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Technician to join our team at Pepsi Co. As a key member of our Supply Chain - Fleet department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and repair work on a variety of vehicles, including automobiles, trucks, vans, and forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including brake systems, engines, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Work with a high degree of independence, using computer-based diagnostics and other tools to troubleshoot and repair vehicles
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Permit or Class A CDL
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience working with heavy trucks and equipment
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and air brake systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASE or Manufacturers certifications
  • Previous experience working with computer instrumentation and shop tools
  • Formal schooling in a technical industry
