Position Overview:

All Back of House (BOH) personnel are expected to arrive for their scheduled shifts punctually, dressed in the appropriate uniform, and to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout their work hours. Each team member will receive specific station assignments at the beginning of their shift and will be responsible for executing opening and closing duties as directed by the Manager on Duty. It is imperative that all team members adhere to the highest standards of sanitation and food safety consistently. Compliance with safety protocols is essential; any unsafe conditions, actions, incidents, or injuries must be reported immediately to the Chef or another Manager on Duty.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting fellow kitchen staff in food preparation and designated side tasks under the supervision of the Chef. Preparing all food items according to Ruth's Chris Steak House recipe standards and procedures.

- Cooking and preparing all food items to ensure they meet company specifications, recipes, procedures, and quality standards. Ensuring guests have an outstanding dining experience by serving food with precise timing.

- Verifying the availability of potatoes, vegetables, hot appetizer ingredients, condiments, garnishes, equipment, plateware, and smallwares before the shift begins to ensure adequate supplies for operational needs. Informing the Chef of any shortages.

- Seasoning, cooking, and plating side station food items accurately to uphold Ruth's Chris standards of quality, presentation, and timing.

- Collaborating with the broiler cook to ensure timely preparation of food items for service.

- Restocking food items, condiments, plateware, smallwares, equipment, and supplies throughout the shift to maintain sufficient inventory levels for operational needs.

- Carrying out all tasks while strictly adhering to safety guidelines and practices. Promptly reporting any safety issues, incidents, or injuries to the Chef and/or Manager on Duty.

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
