Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and follow-up
- Manage lab results, patient notifications, and follow-up activities in accordance with PPHP Medical Standards and Guidelines
- Provide pre-natal education and support to patients, tracking delivery outcomes and ensuring postpartum visits
- Receive and manage patient calls, providing professional and comprehensive telephonic nursing assessment and education
- Document all communication with patients accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate and current electronic logs, notifying pharmacies of new prescriptions and authorizations as needed
- Follow up with PPHP contracted laboratories and complete audits as instructed by Director, Quality & Clinical Integration
- Provide high-quality telephone customer service to internal and external customers
- Current NYS license in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification
- One-year experience in Women's Healthcare, abortion services, or recovery room preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
- Ability to use a computer for charting, documenting, and communicating
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks at once and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work autonomously with a set of protocols
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and display a keen understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
