Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate courses in Beginning Acting for majors and non-majors
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum
  • Engage in professional development to stay current in the field of theatre arts

Requirements:

  • Possesses at least a master's degree in the field of theatre arts or a related field
  • Has experience teaching acting and/or experience in professional acting
  • Has the ability to coach/train students in contemporary acting techniques
  • Has excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher education teaching experience
