Job Summary

PARR is a leading provider of home building supplies and solutions, seeking a skilled Millworks Driver to join our team. As a Millworks Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of building materials to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate Commercial Motor Vehicle: Load and unload building materials from the vehicle, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Efficient Route Planning: Plan and execute delivery routes to meet customer needs, while minimizing travel time and fuel consumption.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of delivery routes, customer interactions, and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Class C License
  • 21 Years of Age or Older
  • Ability to Speak, Write, and Read English
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Acceptable Driving Record
  • Knowledge of Vehicle Safety Regulations
Working Conditions

The Millworks Driver will work in a fast-paced environment, delivering building materials to customers in various weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull objects 50 feet, and work in an office environment as needed.
