The estimated annual salary for this position is $95,000 - $115,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role involves overseeing quality assurance activities associated with software development and analysis tasks. Key responsibilities include developing test plans, performing exploratory testing, executing functional and regression testing, and working closely with engineering, product management, and support teams to ensure the product is ready for release.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute test plans, perform exploratory testing, and execute functional and regression testing.
  2. Work closely with engineering, product management, and support teams to ensure the product is ready for release.
  3. Pull product backlog items (PBIs) from Azure DevOps and perform QC testing.
  4. Log bugs to the PBIs in Azure DevOps and notify customer and support teams when changes are ready for UAT.
  5. Conduct and document user acceptance testing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years of progressive experience in validating software systems, or an advanced level test analyst certification that can substitute for this experience.
  • Demonstrated good communication skills and the ability to work independently or under general direction only.
  • Experience with analysis of requirements, both functional and non-functional, to identify potential tests, as well as participation in software system team planning sessions.
  • Development and execution of test artifacts in manual and automated testing tools.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational practices, procedures, policies, and methodologies pertaining to the management and administration of automated government systems.
  • An Associate's degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
