Firefighter/Paramedic Job Opportunity

The Town of Ashland is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Firefighter/Paramedic to join our team. As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care, fire suppression, and rescue services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care and transportation to patients
  • Operate fire apparatus and equipment to suppress fires and rescue individuals
  • Participate in fire prevention and safety education programs
  • Maintain station and vehicle equipment, and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold a valid Massachusetts driver's license
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be certified as an EMT-Basic, with EMT-Paramedic certification preferred
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a 911 service
