Job Summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures in the application of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Procedures: Perform imaging procedures using radionuclides to diagnose and treat diseases, ensuring accurate and safe results.
  • Supervision: Supervise and mentor technologists and ancillary personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various radiation detection, measuring, and recording devices, as well as mechanical accessories.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology and/or Nuclear Medicine, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous work experience in clinical nuclear medicine, preferably with Siemens, Philips, and GE equipment.
  • Licensure: Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), as well as licensure as required by the West Virginia State Board of Radiology.
Work Environment

Cabell Huntington Hospital offers a traveler-friendly facility with a Monday-to-Friday schedule, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Call rotation every 4th week. A comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation are also offered.
