Housing Matters is a leading organization in the fight against homelessness. As a Direct Services Coordinator NOC, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide pathways out of homelessness for individuals and families in Santa Cruz County.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and clean environment for shelter guests.
  • Facilitate weekly overnight laundry delivery and distribute snacks and supplies when available.
  • Be available to answer questions and problem-solve with shelter guests.
  • Understand and apply housing first and harm reduction strategies.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $23.06 - $28.61 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching.

As a Direct Services Coordinator NOC, you will work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends. You must be able to work independently and with little supervision, and possess excellent communication and de-escalation skills.


Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED completion is required.
  • CPR and de-escalation certification are also required.
  • EMT certification is a plus.
