Job Description
The Encampment Resolution Fund Housing Navigator II will report to the Loft Program Manager and partner with the ERF Project Manager in providing services to Santa Cruz County's unsheltered population. Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting outreach and building relationships with community members
• Searching daily for available housing units and coordinating with property managers
• Collaborating with Housing Navigators and Case Managers to develop rapport with clients and secure appropriate housing
• Facilitating rental agreements and ensuring participant understanding of rental policies and procedures
• Maintaining accurate records and data on services provided

Salary and Benefits
This full-time, hourly non-exempt position offers a salary range of $26.04-$33.24 per hour, depending on experience. Housing Matters provides a generous benefits package, including 6 medical plans, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement savings matching. You'll also enjoy 20 days of paid time off, 1 floating holiday, and 9 paid holidays. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends required for some positions.

Requirements
We're looking for candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in social service casework or a related field. A Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field is also preferred. Additionally, thorough knowledge of affordable housing regulations, community resources, and public social service programs is essential.

Work Environment
You'll be working in a dynamic environment that requires collaboration and communication with various stakeholders, including community partners and program participants. A valid California Class C Driver's License is also required.
