At Uber Freight, we are reimagining the way goods move to help communities thrive. As a member of our Real-Time Pricing Team, you will play a critical role in providing timely spot pricing rates to our Enterprise and Mid-Market customers, with the goal of maximizing the freight win rate on a daily basis by delivering value to shippers.

  • Create and submit real-time spot market pricing to Mid-Market and Enterprise customers through web portals, API connections, email, and other communication channels.
  • Enhance Uber Freight's shipper knowledge by mastering customer networks, understanding price points, identifying opportunities, and providing timely communication.
  • Maintain a constant awareness of US freight market conditions and advise other Uber Freight team members on changes, trends, and insights noticed in the Spot Market.
  • Develop direct customer relationships, when appropriate, to help grow existing Uber Freight accounts.
  • Pursue spot freight opportunities that help Uber Freight achieve its volume and margin OKRs.
  • Utilize internal and external pricing tools and databases to inform your spot pricing decisions.

  • 2+ years of experience in freight pricing, customer or carrier sales, account management, or relevant pricing experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in common analytics and reporting tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker)
