In your role as a Physical Therapist (PT), you will:
- Assess and treat patients experiencing physical limitations or mobility challenges due to injury, illness, or surgical procedures in a home care setting.
- Develop and implement a tailored treatment plan utilizing exercises, stretching, manual therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding rehabilitative care and essential activities to foster health, safety, and independence.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in your clients' care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
To be considered for the Physical Therapist (PT) position, you will need:
- A current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the relevant state.
- Valid CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
- Reliable transportation for visiting care sites.
- A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience as a Physical Therapist (PT) in a home health or comparable environment.
