Job Description

We are seeking an experienced janitor with warehouse maintenance expertise to fill a critical role at Manufacturing Inc. As a Warehouse Maintenance Associate, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Routine Cleaning Tasks: Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting throughout the facility.
  • Sanitation and Disinfection: Sanitize and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and other high-traffic areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Trash and Recycling Management: Empty and maintain trash and recycling bins, ensuring timely disposal and adhering to waste management regulations.
  • Cleaning Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment to ensure proper functionality and extend its lifespan.
  • Warehouse Cleanliness: Address spills, debris, and other hazards promptly to prevent accidents and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Cleaning Supplies Management: Stock and replenish cleaning supplies and ensure they are readily available for use.
  • Safety Initiatives: Support safety initiatives by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
  • Maintenance Collaboration: Collaborate with the maintenance team on larger cleaning or repair tasks.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of $45,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in warehouse maintenance or janitorial work is required.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Cleaning Supplies Familiarity: Familiarity with cleaning supplies and equipment is essential.
  • Physical Capability: Physical capability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Instruction Following: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Safety Commitment: Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
