The Cardiac Surgery team at Rush University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular ICU Advanced Practice Provider to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our Heart Service Line, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive acute and routine medical/surgical care to our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Function as a member of a multidisciplinary team with Cardiac surgeons and an in-house night intensivist
  • Provide 13-hour shifts with 6 shifts in a 2-week period
  • Participate in a block schedule of 4-6 weeks
  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure cost-effective and quality patient care
  • Exemplify the Rush mission, vision, and values
  • Meet all state and federal regulatory practice and accreditation standards
