We are seeking a dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide exceptional care to our clients in Queens, NY. As a home health aide with Platinum, you will be at the heart of our client's care, ensuring their safety and well-being in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Personal Care: Providing personalized support with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities.
  • Assistance with Mobility and Transfers: Ensuring patients' safety and mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
  • Medication Administration: Administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Vital Sign Monitoring: Tracking patients' vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to medical personnel.
  • Emotional Support and Companionship: Offering emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, enhancing their overall quality of life.
  • Maintenance of a Clean and Safe Environment: Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients, including light housekeeping duties and meal preparation as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A valid Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
  • An understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.
  • The ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
  • Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience, as well as:
