Job Title: Principal Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Systems Engineer to lead our team in the development and implementation of space-based systems. As a key member of our Mission Systems team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to our engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide systems engineering leadership to develop and implement requirements, CONOPS, architecture, and integration of space missions.
  • Manage and control the technical baseline, ensuring that all systems meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Interface with and support the program Mission Chief Engineer, ensuring that all technical aspects of the program are aligned with the overall mission objectives.
  • Coordinate and interface with internal and external customers, partners, and subcontractors to ensure that all technical requirements are met.
  • Plan and manage the cost, schedule, and technical content associated with the systems engineering team.
Requirements:
  • BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field, plus 8 or more years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in systems engineering processes, including requirements development, requirement allocation, change management, verification, and validation.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, including meeting cost, schedule, and performance goals.
  • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.
