Behavioral Health Therapist

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team in the Georgia Apex Project. This program aims to increase access to mental health services for school-aged youth throughout the state.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessments, individual, family, crisis, and group counseling for individuals according to their treatment plans.
- Participate in developing and maintaining a collaborative and cooperative service environment in the community.
- Work closely with DFCS, School, DJJ, Juvenile court personnel to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide billable direct service to individuals in a school setting.
- Attend required meetings or trainings according to the APEX contract.
- Complete all necessary paperwork according to Policy and Procedure.
- Master's Degree from an accredited program.
- Must hold a LAPC, LAMFT, LMSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT professional license in the state of Georgia.
- Two or more years experience in behavioral health setting preferred.
- Skilled in working independently and implementing time management strategies.
- Ability to demonstrate positive team interactions with other clinic staff.
- Computer skills sufficient to learn and utilize the electronic medical records.
