About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Director of Culinary Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Foodservice department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving profitability, and developing talent within the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Ensure the delivery of high-quality food products while operating within budgetary guidelines.
- Culinary Expertise: Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs to maintain a safe and healthy food environment.
- Leadership and Development: Promote the professional growth and development of your team members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
- Talent Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of culinary professionals.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Experience: Minimum five years of proven leadership expertise in acute care hospital food service operations.
- Skillset: Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, P&L accountability, contract-managed service experience, and ServSafe certification.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience. Positions at this location require proof of COVID-19 vaccination, boosters, and/or regular COVID testing. Where permitted by law, applicants who are offered a position for this location may be asked about their vaccination status, which must meet minimum business requirements. All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered.
