Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Customer Support Specialist to join our team at IMS People. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer orders, handling inquiries, supporting sales activities, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Management: Enter and verify customer orders, handle phone calls and emails, address quotes and issues, update RMAs, and follow up on sales and quotes.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the Regional Manager to manage accounts and relationships within a specific territory, prioritize tasks, plan workflows, and drive sales growth.
  • Customer Database Management: Update customer, account, and opportunity information across various databases. Conduct customer needs analysis and recommend appropriate options.
  • Quality System Support: Support ISO quality system standards, company quality policies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Understand the competitive landscape and effectively communicate company differentiators and value.
  • Training and Environment: Assist in training new employees as assigned by the supervisor and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience; minimum of 1 year of sales experience preferred.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer Service: Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Previous customer service or technical experience preferred.
  • Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience. Salesforce experience.
