Connections For Kids is a leading mental health agency that provides individualized, child and family centered care. We are seeking a skilled School Based Behavioral Health Professional to join our team.
About the Role
As a School Based Behavioral Health Professional, you will work one-on-one with a student who has a developmental disability. You will work alongside the student in their classroom, in partnership with a supervisor and school personnel, to teach daily living skills, social skills, and coping skills, and work on the goals in the student's individualized plan.
Responsibilities
- Work with students with developmental disabilities to develop and implement individualized plans
- Teach daily living skills, social skills, and coping skills to students
- Collaborate with school personnel and supervisors to ensure student success
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required
- Ability to pass a criminal background check required
