Connections For Kids is a leading mental health agency that provides individualized, child and family centered care. We are seeking a skilled School Based Behavioral Health Professional to join our team.

About the Role

As a School Based Behavioral Health Professional, you will work one-on-one with a student who has a developmental disability. You will work alongside the student in their classroom, in partnership with a supervisor and school personnel, to teach daily living skills, social skills, and coping skills, and work on the goals in the student's individualized plan.

Responsibilities

  • Work with students with developmental disabilities to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Teach daily living skills, social skills, and coping skills to students
  • Collaborate with school personnel and supervisors to ensure student success
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check required
