Job Summary

Maryhaven, Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Counselor Assistant/Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our behavioral services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to individuals struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the administrative supervisor and lead counselor to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients in our Opiate Treatment program.
  • Provide chemical dependency counseling, case management, and support services to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • First-hand experience with a twelve-step recovery program or comparable experience.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in human services or behavioral science with some paid volunteer clinical experience or internship in the field of chemical dependency treatment, or equivalent.
  • Valid State of Ohio Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) certification.
