Counselor Assistant/Case Manager Job Description

Maryhaven, Central Ohio's largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Counselor Assistant/Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals diagnosed with substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day treatment and support to individuals in our care, under the supervision of the Lead Counselor.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring a comprehensive and holistic approach to care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring to inform treatment decisions.
  • Provide education and support to individuals and their families on substance use disorders, recovery, and related topics.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in human services or behavioral science, with some paid or volunteer clinical experience or internship in the field of chemical dependency treatment, or equivalent preferred.
  • An active State of Ohio Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) or higher required.
