About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the University of North Texas System. As a key member of our Counseling and Testing Services department, you will play a vital role in providing individual, group, and crisis counseling services to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and crisis counseling services to students, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Conduct intake and assessment sessions to identify student needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement group counseling programs to promote student well-being and academic success.
  • Collaborate with other campus departments and community agencies to provide comprehensive support services to students.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.
Requirements
  • PhD or PsyD in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical or Educational Psychology.
  • Full, unrestricted TX license as a Licensed Psychologist or eligibility for licensure within 24 months of employment.
  • Considerable knowledge of professional mental health practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
