We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the University of North Texas. As a key member of our Counseling & Testing Services department, you will play a vital role in providing individual, group, and crisis counseling to students, as well as clinical supervision and training to staff.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans for students
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, as well as crisis counseling as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Supervise and train staff members to ensure high-quality services
- Participate in departmental committees and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- PhD or PsyD in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical or Educational Psychology
- Full, unrestricted TX license as a Licensed Psychologist
- Considerable knowledge of professional mental health practices, policies, and procedures
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Short-term treatment orientation
- Experience working in a college counseling setting
- Experience providing outreach and/or group therapy programs
