We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President, Index Exotics Trader to join our team at Barclays Capital Inc. in New York, NY. This is a unique opportunity to work with complex index exotics equity derivatives products and contribute to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced mathematical and stochastic pricing models to price and risk manage complex index exotics equity derivatives products.
  • Collaborate with risk management to ensure the continuity of business and performance of the book.
  • Work closely with quants to develop cutting-edge pricing models and over hedge methodologies.
  • Design new index exotics products to capture new clients' needs and recycle higher order risks of the index exotics book.
  • Train other traders on the desk and work with structuring and sales to advise clients.
  • Collaborate with IT to build and enhance advanced trading systems for optimal risk management and precise pricing and executions.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of index exotics equity derivatives products and their pricing models.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with risk management and trading systems.
