Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Labor and Delivery department. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for perinatal care and be able to provide individualized attention to our patients. This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
  • Direct and supervise other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care
  • Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment and improve patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Additional certifications as required by department (NRP Completion Course/Fetal Heart Monitoring Completion Course)
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas
  • Work experience: 1 + years of L&D RN experience
