Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Technician to join our team at PAM Health. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for supporting patient and retail food and nutrition services, including food production, cashiering, patient food service support, and sanitation.

Responsibilities
  • Food Production: Prepare salads and desserts in a timely manner, ensuring they are fresh, attractive, and garnished. Weigh and measure ingredients accurately, following recipes for standardization of quality in dessert productions.
  • Patient Food Service Support: Assemble patient meal trays, checking each tray for completion and ensuring that every item on the patient's menu is what they requested. Exercise caution when pushing carts to floors to avoid spilling or breakage.
  • Sanitation: Rotate products used for salad and dessert preparations, complying with established health and sanitation regulations. Clean and sanitize areas, including dish machines, tray racks, walls, and floors.
  • Cashiering and Serving: Assist with cashiering and serving when needed, providing courteous and accurate service to customers.
Qualifications
  • Education and Training: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience: Commercial food service/cashiering experience preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Organize work, knowledge of commercial food sanitation policies and procedures, mathematical calculations, and reading and writing English.
