Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef/Director of Dining Services with food and supply inventory management.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and safety by attending to spills, maintaining floor and surface areas, and adhering to sanitation programs.
  • Prepare meals, manage portion control, and maintain proper diet requirements.
  • Contribute to the receiving, inspection, and storage of supplies.
  • Remove trash from kitchen areas and monitor garbage cans and sites.
  • Wash, scrub, and dry dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Manage dishwashing stations and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Transport dishes to the main kitchen for cleaning.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down member/resident events.
Requirements
  • High school graduation or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position desired.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Ability to meet or exceed attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Ability to use miscellaneous software and office equipment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Work Environment

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The team member may be exposed to minimal to moderate noise and exposure to blood and/or body fluids.

This is a non-travel position, although occasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, and other company functions.
