We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Covenant Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our physical plant and utilities, as well as the maintenance of all buildings, grounds, and distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Plant Engineering, Maintenance/Renovation activities to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, and State of Tennessee standards.
- Oversee the personnel management of the department, including hiring, firing, and disciplinary measures.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance systems to ensure the quality and safety of our facilities.
- Work with Materials Services and Capital Equipment Committee to assess equipment and technology needs.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with fire and safety regulations.
- Evaluate and make recommendations for improvements to the physical plant and Engineering Department.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in supervision of a maintenance/facilities department.
- Experience in budgeting, contract, and personnel management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
