Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Family Services Specialist. In this role, you'll work directly with families to provide support and guidance, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide home-based services to families, including teaching and demonstrating homemaking skills, parenting skills, and utilizing effective resources.
  • Support families in crisis, helping them to access resources and services that promote stability and well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to meet the unique needs of each family.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support for families.
  • Document progress and outcomes, using data to inform service delivery and improve outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates degree or 2 years of child welfare experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience in social work, child care, or working with families is preferred.
  • A dependable automobile, a valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
