About the Role

This Elementary Floater Teacher position plays a critical role at Stratford School. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of elementary students in grades Kindergarten through fifth while supporting and assisting classroom teachers in supervision, or providing other campus assistance as needed. If there is a vacancy in a classroom, you may have the opportunity to step in and lead the class.

This position is perfect for someone looking to gain school and classroom experience while contributing to the educational growth and development of elementary students.

Responsibilities

Implement curriculum to provide a comprehensive educational experience for students

Collaborate with other faculty and staff members to achieve common goals and objectives

Assist in classroom management and behavior to create a positive and productive learning environment

Provide support in the classroom or office as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the school

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Prior classroom experience is preferred but not required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues

  • A passion for contributing to the educational growth and development of elementary students
