Safety Contractor Job Description

At eTeam, we are seeking a highly skilled Safety Contractor to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with industry safety standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Assess worker exposure to hazardous conditions and provide guidance on safe work practices.
  • Participate in accident investigations to identify causal factors and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Monitor and report on safety metrics, including incident rates and near-miss events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in construction safety, with 5 years of hands-on safety experience.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
