Program Overview
The Credit Analyst Development Program is designed to cultivate talent within our credit analyst team. Participants will engage in underwriting custom credit requests, structuring loan transactions, monitoring borrower financial performance, and collaborating with relationship managers and clients to meet their banking needs.

Key Responsibilities
As a participant in this program, you will:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of financial statements and evaluate credit requests, providing well-founded recommendations based on your assessments of credit risk.
  • Prepare historical financial statement spreads, quarterly trend analysis reports, and financial projections using standard software for both existing and prospective clients.
  • Measure and monitor a variety of financial covenants as outlined in credit approval documents.
  • Interpret credit approval requirements accurately to ensure compliance monitoring.
  • Analyze financial results and prepare reports to communicate performance and trends to Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers.
  • Engage with clients as necessary, participating in meetings or calls with companies in the supported portfolio.
  • Enhance your technical and business acumen through structured training, mentorship, and exposure to senior executives.
  • Foster a supportive community of peers through various activities such as social events, volunteer days, and development workshops.

Candidate Profile
We seek individuals who demonstrate leadership potential, possess a strong work ethic, and exhibit effective communication skills. A sense of intellectual curiosity is essential.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a finance or analytical role.
- Fundamental understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Availability to commence the development program as specified.

Preferred Qualifications
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Well-developed analytical skills with acute attention to detail.
- Capability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently, demonstrating initiative and flexibility.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Work Environment
This position operates in a hybrid model, allowing flexibility in work location while requiring in-office attendance on designated days. The role entails a full-time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week.
