Real Estate Credit Analyst

As a Real Estate Credit Analyst at Invesco, you will play a crucial role in supporting the originations and capital markets teams in analyzing new transactions, underwriting, and due diligence processes. This is a two-year position in our analyst program, offering a wide range of real estate debt transactions, including new debt originations, preferred equity, and construction loans.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify, underwrite, price, structure, and close single asset and portfolio loan transactions
- Provide transactional support to the originations and capital markets teams, including loan and real estate asset underwriting, due diligence, deal structuring, and deal execution
- Prepare and update property and portfolio level financial models in Excel and/or Argus for existing and prospective investments, including sensitivity analysis
- Participate in internal and external client meetings, negotiation of contracts, and due diligence meetings
- Communicate and develop recommendations for 3rd party providers and clients
- Support the preparation of written analysis and evaluations of investment opportunities
- Travel to various domestic markets/locations (less than 10% of time)
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, with a graduation date between December 2024 and May 2025
- Excellent academic background with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above, with a GPA of 3.5 and above preferred
- Some prior related work experience preferred, including relevant commercial real estate, banking, or other finance internship experience
- Strong analytical/quantitative and technical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Strong leadership, initiative, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- High energy with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in common Adobe and Microsoft Applications (Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated experience with financial modeling in Excel required
- Understanding of basic finance concepts and how to calculate metrics such as internal rate of return, and net present value/discounted cash flow analyses
- Familiarity with Argus Enterprise is a plus
- Must be willing to work on-site full-time
